What's that? You've never drawn anything? You've never painted? You're not creative? You have no talent? NONSESE! Everyone has the ability to be creative and to create amazing things. Creativity, like anything else, can be learned. Talent is just passion, hard work, and the will to keep trying.

I'm pretty sure even you drew as a child... or you've probably doodled while on the phone... or maybe even tried to draw something from TV or life. Or maybe you've "experimented" when cooking? Had fun mixing and matching your clothing to make a cool new outfit? Played in the mud? Play acted? Played at something. I bet you have pictures in your head somewhere, lurking there, waiting to pop out... Music waiting to be written, recipes waiting to be discovered, and stories yet to be told. Don't think so? I do! Yep, I believe in you when I don't even know you. Scary though huh? That's because I belive that everyone has creative ideas/impulses and the ability to create.

What's that? You're not any GOOD? You are not "talented"? How do you know? There are no rules in art - if fact most often it's all about inventing new techniques and rules. You think other artists, cooks, musicians, and writers don't practice and work and worry? Of course they do. Most artists only show their "good" stuff, not all the sketches that end up in their trash bin... a famous cook will give you the recipe that turned out right, not the ones that ended in burned messes. Many, many artists even don't like their own work, or feel frustrated by it... or don't think they have anything in their heads or hearts worth drawing. These doubts and failures are frustrated feelings are normal and it's okay to have them... so long as you keep trying and work past them. Yes work. It takes hard work to be creative sometimes, but if it's something you want to do go for it!
